What is Common between the Dummies (Democractic Underground) and the Loonies (LibertyPost).

Who are the Dummies?

They are the extreme left wing liberal kooks of “Democratic Underground” known to us as DummyLand.

Who are the Loonies?

They are the phony conservatives of “LibertyPost” known to us a LoonyPost.

What is common between Dummies and Loonies?

I. They both hate President Bush and the Republican Party.

For the Dummies President Bush is the worst President ever because he has cut our taxes, defends our freedom, protects our free market economy, destroys our terrorist enemies, removed the terrorist and brutal regime of Saddam Hussein, spreads freedom and democracy to the dark places of the world, protects the life of the unborn, and speaks a lot about his Christian faith and God. That is why they hate him.

The Dummies hate the Republican party because it has crushed all their hope of a communist America ruled by a left wing European style kooks. They hate the Republican party because the Republicans believe in less taxes, more freedom of the market, stronger military, protection of the unborn, tougher laws on murderers, rapists, and drug dealers.

For the Loonies President Bush is the worst President ever because he took us to war in Iraq, he failed us miserably in Iraq, he is fighting terrorism by changing the whole political structure of the Middle East, he is not following the Buchanin Doctrine of isolationism, he is not using nuclear weapons to deal with the terrorism in the Middle East. He is the worst President ever according to the Loonies because he sent our military to the Middle to fight terrorism, instead he should have sent the military to the Southern borders to chase and kill Mexican illegal immigrants. He is the worst President ever because for the Loonies he is Mexicanizing America. He is our worst President ever according to them because he sold our government to big businesses, and to corporate America. That is why they hate him.

The Loonies hate the Republican party because the GOP does not adopt and does not endorse their phony conservatism that is based on isolationism, racism, and anti-corporate America. They hate the Republicans because the vast majority of them belong to the most worthless and constantly defeated libertarian party, constitution party, and Buchaninsm.

II. They both want Hillary Clinton to be President in 2008

For the insanely delusional Dummies Hillary Clinton is the savior of the dying liberalism in America. They want her to be President so she can implement every socialist, communist, and left wing liberal idea ever devised. Of course Hillary will be crushed in the 2008 Presidential election that if she won the nomination of the Democrat party in the first place, but the insanely delusional Dummies do not have the brain to understand that an ultra left wing person like Hillary can never be President of the United States no matter how she tries to fool the general public that she is not this an extreme left winger.

For the Loonies, they will vote for Hillary Clinton because she mentioned that she will do something about illegal immigration. Despite the fact that they know she is lying about it, this fringe minority of phony conservatives will vote for her. And they will do so because the vast majority of them do not vote Republicans, and in their insanely delusional mind they want the Republican party to be defeated so they will be the real conservative party in America where they are going to win election after another.

III. They both hate Free Republic and its Founder

For the Dummies Free Republic is a gathering of extreme right wing zealots who are out on the internet to defend corporate America and our free market economy, who want to protect the right of the fetus, who want to defend America from its enemies by using military might, who praise the US military and appreciate their sacrifice to protect our freedom and our way of life, and who want to impose the Judeo-Chrisitan morality on America.

For the Loonies Free Republic is not conservative enough in their own delusional world of phony conservatism. For them Jim Robinson is a puppet in the GOP hands that want him to turn FR into a Bush worshiping cult. For the Loonies Jim Robinson and the Freepers are against freedom of speech because FR do not tolerate their speeches about killing all Mexicans, nuking Mexico, endorse the StormFronters and the Minute Men project, and give praises to vigilantism on the Mexican borders. They hate FR and JR because racism, vigilantism, and absolute hate posts are prohibited.

IV. They are both insanely delusional

When people are constantly defeated they escape the harsh and bitter reality by creating their own delusional world where they view themselves as all powerful, all wise, and all victorious.

In their insane delusional world, the Dummies believe that the vast majority of the country share their lunatic left wing ideology and that they have been winning every election but those evil Republicans are cheating by manipulating the voting machines supplied by their friends in corporate America.

In their insane delusional world, the Loonies believe that the vast majority of the country share their fringe lunatic ideas of phony conservatism, that the majority of voters are obsessed with the illegal immigration issue, and that they have the power to destroy the GOP and create the new Conservative party. Of course the delusional loonies are nothing but are a very small minority that is very vocal and very annoying. Elections after another have taught us that their votes are worthless and they have zero effect on the election results because Republicans have been winning the White House and Congress without any of their meaningless votes.

The fact that you spent so much time compiling this list of faults might also qualify you as being slightly obsessive. :)

I don't pay attention to Democratic Underground. A few years ago I might have signed up there and crafted my online presence to fit that arena just for the entertainment and educational value. I don't care about playing that game anymore. They look to me like lots of young idealistic and mind numbed kids. Many of them will grow out of their lefty obsessions as they mature. As for the old fools there, you already know what they say about old fools ...

Regarding LP: the signal to noise ratio there is slightly worse than here because there is less moderation. There are a couple of very obsessive posters with vendettas against FR. There are several freaks of nature there that defy any attempt at sane logical discourse. But there are also numerous posters there that really, all things considered, should (still) be here. I believe it would be better for the debates if they were.

Since you have brought up these other 2 sights, it inevitably brings the need to compare them to FR.

FR is not without its faults, although it is clearly the best bulletin board for conservatives by far.

There is a complaint that could be lodged against FR that I believe is valid and easily observable -- the level of Bush worship here is off the scale in terms of its unhealthiness.

I like the guy. I voted for him. He has done things that demonstrate he is a true leader, which is rare among politicians. He is personable and likable. He has numerous worthy and admirable qualities.

BUT for God's sakes, he is not perfect. In fact, he has some significant and glaring flaws both in terms of style and substance. He should not be above criticism.

He is a lifelong politician from a family of lifelong politicians, and for that reason alone deserves additional scrutiny as to motives and objectives ... and that scrutiny cannot come from a position of adulation and worship.

But to criticize Bush here is almost the same as taking the Lord's name in vain. FR looks, in that regard, to be an extension of the Republican Party. If someone from the 'other' sights was critiquing us, I believe that would be one of their biggest complaints. And it is a critique that is not without some merit.

Like anybody's been paying attention to that rule lately.

Or paying attention to the rule that "absolute hate posts are prohibited."    All in all, the FR admin staff are probably doing the best they can.   So if they let hate posts, vanity news, and calls for boycotting Republican candidates slip by, then I guess nobody's perfect.

I would consider myself a pretty typical right-winger, but I think Bush has been complete and utter failure when it comes to reducing the size of the Government.

Well .. I think you give "Willie" too much credit for controlling anything that's going on [except for some sychophant dems who are terrified he might have them offed]. With personal ratings of 25% - his "rule" is over.

The dems HATE Bush because he stole the 2000 election from them. Now .. I don't believe that Bush did steal the election. The dems expected Bush to cave when the vote was so close .. and when he didn't - there was only one result = RAGE.

I remember when Gore had his little press conference and invited Bush to a "closed door" meeting. They expected Bush to show up - and then GIVE THE ELECTION TO GORE. Bush didn't and the result = RAGE.

The dems are so arrogant and elitist, they believe they are the only people capable of RULING and the rest of us should just shut up and let them. Phooey on that noise!

So .. I reject your idea that "Willie" has any relation to anything resembling RAGE at Bush.

This RAGE is nothing more than a 2 yr old having a tantrum because he didn't get his own way.

Hillary is less popular among women than men.

Show me the data. If you have any, I'd love for you to be right. Figure it this way, Hillary will get most of the existing Democratic votes and enough of the "security mom" votes who used to be "soccer moms" when Bill was president. That will be enough to say Madame President.

That is what Steve Lovelady of the Columbia School of Journalism called conservative bloggers. I wear the insult with pride, considering it came from such a high-level cretin.

Apparently, you wish to use it as an insult as well. Nice company you keep.

Who can they stand and why do they keep voting for Kerry and Kennedy?

So .. you're saying .. supporting the President is a bad idea .. and because many of us who support him - are somehow empty headed .. and just sychophants ..??

I've never said the President is perfect. I've never thought that - and I never imply that about anyone - because we are all human beings with imperfections.

My problem is that some people come on these threads and THE ONLY WORDS THAT EVER COME OUT OF THEIR MOUTH IS A COMPLAINT ABOUT BUSH.

Some of us are just get mighty sick of it. Many of us don't agree with EVERYTHING Bush does .. but there is more to life than this constant DRIP DRIP DRIP DRIP DRIP of BUSH SUCKS.

People who whine the most are usually unhappy because they are ONE ISSUE PEOPLE and when the President doesn't side with THEIR ISSUE then HE'S out of step - instead of just accepting that they don't agree with the President's position.

Some of you people need to get over yourselves. Your opinion of Bush is just that - your opinion - and a lot of us are sick of hearing about it 24/7.
