I too was stunned by this avalanche of...of...er, "intense", shall we say?...postings over the last few days. Given the elan of this site, too many of these posts are way, way out of character of either FR or Freepers.

I have noticed about 8 continual posters -- they gang up and ping each other to the threads. They play martyr whenever anyone disagrees with them. They especially came out of the woodwork to cheer for Terri's death.

Their nastiness and thick sarcasm just screams DU to me, but people have tolerated (and even debated) them because they have older signup dates.

They were SO nasty, and SO prevalent, that I can easily name 4 off the top of my head, and about 3 more if I look them up.

Is there anywhere on here to "verify" posters?
