PANAMA CITY, Panama (AP) -- Boxing great Roberto Duran needed 10 stitches in his arm after falling from his motorcycle at the weekend, his wife said on Monday.
Duran, 53, also received treatment for scrapes and bruises in a shoulder, his legs, and his right foot, Felicidad Duran told The Associated Press.
....
Duran was descending a hill on his motorcycle on Sunday when the bike slid on oil, hurling him. He was wearing a helmet, his wife said.
He was taken immediately to a public hospital, where a spokesman confirmed Duran was treated on Sunday but had no further information.
Duran won world titles at lightweight, welterweight, light-middleweight and middleweight before he retired in 2001 with a career record of 104-16, with 69 KOs.

Was he heard screaming "No Mas, No Mas" after the accident?
That'll do it....and after I repeatedly told him to never ride directly behind a pan or a shovel.. *donning flame suit*
And some do it while not riding motorcycle. :):)
Yes, but was he going DoD nominal?
They may scrape him up, but they can't hurt the "hands of stone".
