Obviously not many here care much about quality of life issues. One would think by reading the posts here that this woman can just get up and walk out to the nearest restaurant for a meal or she has been forcibly strapped down and being starved to death. Even very intelligent people like Rush and Sean Hannity have bought into this. It doesn't really matter just how this happened or rather or not MS did anything wrong. The poor woman has no quality of life now. It is very easy to set back and tell others what they should do when those doing the telling have no consequences to bear. As for us, we have living wills that spell out our wishes. Why are Terri's parents fighting so hard, for Terri's sake or theirs. To all that consider this a high quality of life, careful, before you leave this world you have have a few years of this "high quality" life yourselves. I'm sure this will get me hounded off Free Republic, if not banned, but so be it.

Please explain to me how this all in caps incoherent vanity improves anyones quality of life or does anything except make the Pro-Terri supporters look totally insane.

No, that is NOT what people think.
There are several of us here, (myself included) who think that what is happening to Terri is WRONG.
You are, however, completly entitled to your opinion.
Unlike some folks on FR I can disagree with people and not begin name-calling and eye-gouging.
HOWEVER, currently Free Republic DOES have people signing up just to fan the flames a little more and increase the in-fighting.
This poster's history makes me VERY suspicious that he is someone like that.
