Yes they could, if they decided to. In this hypothetical scenario of judiciary abuse, would the President or the Congress be Constitutionally able to overrule or reverse such a gross violation of the Constitution? Well if so, then they have the power to overrule ANYTHING a judge rules that blatantly violates a person's Constitutional rights.

And Terri Schiavo is being starved to death by judicial order even though several doctors have declared she is not in a PVS. (One of those doctors was on a team appointed by the Court). Her civil and religious rights are being trampled on and most folks know that, (though some diehard partyline people will never admit it).
