The President has to act within the law, and from everything I have read and heard, there isn't much he can do without an act of Congress.

I'm resigned to the fact that Terri Schiavo is gonna die, my hope is that we pass laws to make sure this never happens again, and I would like to see the legislation be named after Terri Schaivo.

I'm bummed out over this, I can't believe this could happen in this great country. My thoughts and prayers are with the Schindler's and of course Terri.

The problem was the rhetoric. He could have used his platform to make a strong case for Terri S., but did not.

There is at least one more thing both Bush's could do to stop this madness, if they wanted to.

Since they were both publicly invited to come to the Hospice and see Terri for themselves, why not do just that? Let either one of them or both walk right through the front door, unannounced and with a film crew. Film Terri and show the world the "beauty" she is enduring and that she is not at peace.

If it doesn't save Terri it will sure help expose these gruesome people killing her for the charlatans and demons they truly are and maybe, just like in 1945, pictures of the horrendous condition she will be in will sicken the public enough to force them to turn against this culture of death.
