123! 123 Threads in three (3) days! What the heck is going on? I know this is a very important issue to a lot of people, and I too have very striong feelings, but Holy Mackerel! This is embarrassing. Just look at some of these headlines, threads, and vanities.

When I booted up the puter this morning, I was sickened by this thread: "Terri Bleeding From Eyes and Mouth". Would you want this for someone you know? Is this what we FReepers have become? No better than the sesationalistic lamestream press? I can hardly believe this is my beloved, cherished, respected FRee Republic.

This may even serve as a temporary OPUS, until she (unfortunatly) passes. Go ahead and flame me, I can take it, but I hope I made a couple of you stop and think.

I totally agree and have stayed off most since any reasoned discourse even slightly off agenda for some is met with invective and vitriol.......and I don't intimidate easily but last night I had enough when some here were actually proposing anarchy and storming the hospice.....insanity and emotion has taken over where once reasoned discourse used to rule the day here.......

A lot of the folks who have responded really should go back and read what I wrote, rather than jumping to conclusions. I never said "no big deal", or that I didn't care very deeply about this issue. I was merely pointing out the number and sensationalistic nature of many of these threads.

To me it kind of cheapens the issue.
