Today, as Good Friday looms tommorow with another innocent victim being crucified by a mob on the liberal's cross of "laws" (that a hate-filled judge says can be ignored) and "laws" (that a hate-filled judge says can be ignored "must" be followed to the letter.
The media is promoting her death, and is ignoring contrary news and information. That, we may not be able to overcome.
But the publicisn't the only Witness to this murder.
So, while she is being slowly starved to death to "preserve" our rights to abortion, hatred, revenge, pride, and to conceal previous assaults, let us remember that Good Friday is also a day for us, as Catholics (specifically) and Christians (in general), to fast and abstane.
Also, it important to remember that He forgave the nation of Israel for their collective sins, often after they declared a day of fasting and prayer.
She has none.
For your thoughts.
And prayers.
At least if she goes, she'll be with Jesus instead of stuck here.
I do feel for her parents, but I think equating Terri with Jesus is a little much.
No, she's not equal. Different case entirely.
But it's sobering to remember that Good Friday is the day of His passion and death, a day for fasting and prayer.
And now, in this crisis, fasting and atonement is neded for the country at large.
Her torture though, her treatment at the hands of a crooked judge and spiteful mob egged on by hypocritical leaders, does mimic what He went through.
bump.
Only Jesus died for us.
Let's keep that uppermost in our minds.
Christ on the Cross even died for Michael, Terri, the Schindlers, Felos, Greer, you, me, all of us.
Christ is the person we need to concentrate on today!
(Yes, you might say -- let's remember the basics.
Jesus Christ.
Good Friday afternoon.
