The Florida Rules of Civil Procedure allow a deposition to be taken prior to a civil action actually being filed. Filing and serving this on Terri, and asking the court for an order inserting the tube so as allow the witness to live in order for the deposition, may be a last, best hope. It's clear Jeb isn't going to do anything.
You'll have to come up with a cause of action.
Precisely the point. It cannot be legal. We need to be screaming to both Bushes that this must be opposed. No judge can be given the authority to order a person to be denyed all food and water by mouth. I defy any lawyer to show me a legal justification for this. We all know there is no moral one. Jeb and or George Bush must act now. This is outright judicial fascism. Faster now, Please!
You tell me.
That is unbelievable!!!
Thank you for this information. My instincts told me that there is no way our legal system can permit this authority to a judge. Do you know if any of Terri's attorneys are challenging this? It doesn't take an attorney to see that this is clearly illegal. If this stands, no one is safe from a judge, or family member who can find a sympathetic judge, who wants you dead.
bull$hit.
When they pass a law that all modernmen are subject to being shot on sight, and the courts uphold it, do we obey?
Along with a few others.
3 of the nurses did walk out. They refused to sign a directive from the hospice condemning President Bush for signing the law on Monday.
We may never know just how badly she was abused.
ALL financial and medical records remain SEALED.
Even DCF or whatever they are called were not able to unseal them.
I believe ole Michael will be haunting by this till he draws his last breath and he should be.
Can't happen. The reason are numerous and an explanation would be wasted here.
They're forcing this euthanasia idea on all of us. Who will be allowed to be killed 5 years from now?
I'm in favor of Euthansia, especially if it's a sitting judge with the idea he is the law of the land.
