Who's the villain in the Terri Schiavo case?
(49%) Her husband
(24%) The government
(14%) Her parents
(12%) The media
You work for a living? I thought you were one of those couch potatoes. :)
Well, I just claim to work so that it looks better on these threads. In reality, I was just sleeping all day after another night of debauchery.
OMG!!!! He had to remain SEXLESS??
Oh the horror! A fate worse than DEATH!
/sarcasm
The statement is my own but I willing to debated the point if you feel different... lets start with
...certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness -- That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men,....U.S. Declaration of Independent
...
It states "That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men" ....
So Governments are instituted among Men" ...For a reason... to secure rights
....if there is no reason to do it then their is no reason to the institution of Government's
....I would say if there is no reason to do it there is no right to institute Government
....Life is listed...first among reason listed that "Governments are instituted among Men"....
I do not see "secure death" list as a reason listed that Governments are instituted among Men...
Note that the reason "Governments are instituted among Men"....is to "secure...Rights".... but death... needs no securing, it will come,...(the only thing for certainty is Death... and taxes?)
.... so their is no need for Government to be instituted among Men to secure death
So Government on the grounds to "secure death" has no right to be
Now, Humidston. Aren't we a little testy? I don't think so. :)
Oh. I see. Drive on then. :)
Are you a troll?
becomes ...
" The statement is my own ... "
In other words you made it up out of whole cloth.
Gee ... no kidding?
Why did you not preface your remarks with the truth?
As for the rest of the possible drivel you wrote in your reply, I have trashed it, as nothing you have to say interests me.
YES!

I doubt that I could be original in my reply. I have no doubt that you've already been called an arrogant prick many times. But I respect your right to be such.

Be advised that I don't know you, don't want to know you, and never Freeper mail me again.
"60 Years of liberal democratic judges ruling from the bench instead of from the law is the culprit"
Sevearl Freepers have said Greer is Republican and Christian. FWIW.
"If Micheal believed in the sanctity of marraige,"
In his mind his wife is dead. Whether he really means that or is using that as an excuse......who knows.
"We use to call them Liberals. Now we call them...what? Conservatives? "
Conservatives when it fits "our" purpose and we don't have to go by the rule of law.
.......otherwise the courts stink?
"She had the decency to divorce him and give guardianship to my mother."
Pehaps she got along with her in-laws better than Michael with his?
Why should the scrutiny of he who lost a wife be different from those who've lost a daugther? Maybe it just seems that way?
I had a rule book too, but it's several hours old now and the new one hasn't arrived yet.
Wassa matta u? ... can't keep up? ;)
Nobody knows what Terri's wishes are in this case, we only know what her husband wants us to believe.
If you study the husband's behavior throughout this case, his truthfulness leaves a lot to be desired.
I trust the parents love more than I do the husband's word.
Spouses quit loving each other quite often but parents usually love their children forever.
Apparently you are uninformed about this. The case is about a rogue judge ruling outside the law and sentencing a citizen to death without due process as required by the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution.
The Congress instructed The United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida to review the court proceedings to determine whether Terri has been denied her right to due process.
So where is the government in someone's bedroom. Where the government IS involving itself is in arresting people who offer this poor woman any water or food. They are practically strip-searching this woman's parents whenever they go to visit their daughter as she dies from over-exposure to government.
Yes, Conservatives are on the right side here. And yes, you are wrong.

Congress. Solving America's health care one person at a time. John Stewart Show.
That's an ouch, but then again, the truth hurts.
