Who's the villain in the Terri Schiavo case?
(49%) Her husband
(24%) The government
(14%) Her parents
(12%) The media
Reading comprehension isn't for everyone.
You need education on what food is. It's not life support. Is it legal to withold your life support? And don't hand me that she's PVS. She's a human being who is healthy. Do we now kill the disabled?
I am not putting words in your mouth.
I am using your words that you HAVE used.
You say that a feeding tube is life support.
By the same 'logic' used to class a feeding tube as 'life support', a pacemaker is life support.
You have indicated that people with 'life support' are not worthy of life.
All quite well within what you have said.
Don't like it?
It IS what you have said and indicated.
For what it's worth, I think such an action is criminal.
I think many people want exactly that.
Another slickmiester heard from.
Reading comprehension is most difficult when your head is stuck in one gear.
Do try to be original in your reply. No head up butt stuff. ;)
"Reading comprehension isn't for everyone."
Nice personal attack by the way.
From below the post biutton:
Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.
You are wrong on this one. Look at her husband and his history of treatment of Terri. The fact that he is fighting tooth and nail to kill her. If he has any love for her he would walk away with his girlfriend and children. Judge Greer has only let in Mr. Schiavo's side and has thrown out everything her family or friends have testfied to. You would think that to be fair he would listen to both sides.
You're comical.
So I'm a liberal because I support limited government and the rights of Married couples?
I thought us conservatives supported this?
What happened to us? What happend to our conservative movement? We've no longer free thinkers are we? We can no longer think for our selves...can we? So sad. We had so much potential.
I thought we supported the rights of married couples, but today I came to the realization we only support the rights of marriage when it suits us.
I thought we supported limited government, but then today you taught me we only support limited government when it play into our hand.
The founders are laughing at your ability to think through each one of these issues.
You had so much potential...
Bunk! He was with Terri for 5 years, but he has been with his new wife longer than that, and they have had two children together. A guardian/spouse should at minimum be required to not start a family with another if he wants to remain life and death decision maker over the first spouse. The marriage right should end when you take on another spouse. Or is bigamy legal in Florida?
You're getting pounded in here, man. (I'm saying that just in case you weren't aware....don't want people to get the idea that you're in a PVS...you never know what the judiciary in Arizona is going to rule)
**************
Now, now. He's no worse than a liberal.
Am I wrong?
Yes
No government can prevent your death.... we all die.... no government ever was created to protect you from life....conservative state the first role of any government is to protect your life and property....not assure your death
You operate from the assertion that the government is taking away her right to die ... but that impossible... we all will die and it's permanent so if that was the reason for government there be no need
The first role of any government is to protect your life and property from being taken from you against your will.... in fact government was created because it was assumed as a truth that other want to take your life and property against your will.... it was not assumed as a truth that other will rob you of death against your will....
in fact if the role of government protect your death the way it is to protect your life then the government has no business from preventing suicide an any time for any reason and it would be a crime to prevent other from suicide.... death would be like a sex act ... just ask some one else ...do me...and it's no business of government.....
You said ... " You conveniently forget that a pacemaker is more 'life support' than a feeding tube is."
That is a fraudulent statement. Untrue. Not correct.Wrong definition. Your false assumption.
In Theresa's situation, the stomach tube IS considered life support.
But then that was decided by the rogue courts and the dishonest and murderous husband, and any other excuses you want to state.
