Who's the villain in the Terri Schiavo case?
(49%) Her husband
(24%) The government
(14%) Her parents
(12%) The media
BINGO. If there was incontestable proof, if there was not a cheating husband, if, if, if . . .
There are just too many questions, too many red flags. This case cries out for justice but justice apparently is also on its own deathbed next to Terri's.
I weep today for Terri, her parents, and my country.

Precisely what makes this case unique! Schiavo may well be dirty, and there was no will. There is a preponderance of evidence that suggest Terri's husband is unfit to determine her outcome.

She's only in an end of life stage because she is being starved to death!
Her heart pumps on its own. She breathes on her own. She's only closer to death today because she didn't eat anything today!
When did life support become food and hydration? Who decided that?

The annulment wouldn't work for him because he testified in the malpractice suit that he intended to honour his marriage vows and care for her for the rest of his life. "Remembering" in 97 that she'd want to die was his only route.
Why is so many people in such a hurry for this woman to die? And for the cyber record, his credibility is shot with me. So I couldn't trust him as far as I could bowl him. And still the courts side with him on hearsay evidence only!
My spouse will follow my wishes. I have instructed that I not be sustained by any artificial means, including tube feedings if I am not expected to recover. I expect him to follow through on that 100%.
Why, yes they have -- many times over and over. In fact they keep making the same allegations over. The problem -- for the parents -- is, however, none of the allegations have stood up to scrutiny.
This has nothing to do with church. It has to do with life. We would be fighting for her even if she was an atheist.
But I bet Michael also said she wanted to be immediately cremated also!
What hearsay evidence are you referring to. Please don't tell me it's the Terri's instructions to let her die thing because we've been over that a million times. I think my head is going to explode repeating this: It DOESN'T MATTER! He is the guardian! Even if she never said a word either way, he's the guardian!
The left out my choice – the media and celebrities (real and wannabe) who are using this for their own profit.
Some of you are trying so hard to make us believe this is a govt. intrusion issue. It's not. It's a womans rights being trampled, and people expecting someone in power to deal with it. Even the lefties I deal with daily can see it.
