Techno Rocker Moby Weighs in on Schiavo Case
MSNBC ^ | 3.24.05 | Jeanette Walls

Moby says he doesn't want to be drawn into the Terri Schiavo case, but writes on his Web site:

'My note to the far-right would be: You cant have it both ways.

If you genuinely believe in the sanctity of life then you cannot support the death penalty and you cannot allow people to buy automatic assault weapons and you cannot support wars that result in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

And if you genuinely believe in state's rights then you cant pass intrusive federal legislation when the states do things you arbitrarily disagree with.'

The sort of logic to be expected from a pop celebrity, pearls of wisdom not often heard this side of the Grammy awards.

That's the only Eminem song I like, because he rips into Moby.

Hey, PETA Boy, nobody cares what you think, except for maybe your three fans! Go away you irrelevant turd.

LOL. The left wants it both ways. If they really believed in protecting innocent life they wouldn't bring up opposition to the death penalty & Iraq when dicussing this girl.

"Moby says he doesn't want to be drawn into the Terri Schiavo case"

But he'll opine on it anyway for our edification....

Moby, I don't think Terri or indeed anyone involved in this case, all the way up to the politicians, wanted to be "drawn in" to such a situation.

"Teany"

Sounds like teeny-tiny. But I won't go there. ;)

Nobody from the liberal side ever likes to get the differences.

Killing convicted murderers is good.
The death of any innocent, including the handicapped and unborn is BAD.

You can't equate a convicted murder who is not innocent to innocent life and that is the distinction they on purpose won't get.

Finally! I know the world has been waiting impatiently for Moby's opinion.

Dang, Moby weighed in, but really, I'm waiting to hear what the 1910 Fruitgum Company, Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods, The DeFranco Family, Starland Vocal Band and Bobby Sherman have to say. B-)

Actually Bobby Sherman is a paramedic/EMT so he can reattach the tube.

All I can say to Moby is, "you are a big.......," oh well, this is a family place, just read what he is on a certain book by Herman Mellville about a great white whale with the same first name and look at the last name. That is, if he is literate.

Well, at least you're more forward than I was but I challenged Moby to a little game of literature detective. Wonder if Moby can read? B-)

I won't be completely satisfied until Mischa Barton, Don Knotts, and the drummer for Whitesnake weighs in.

I'll up the ante with "Bobby Kuban and the In-Men," Mort Garson, "Stars on 45" and Bo Derek.

Well I feel a little better now that Moby has weighed in with his opinion, but I still need to know what Gary Coleman, Vanna White, and at least 3 of the former Spice Girls think about the issue before I will feel comfortable making up my mind...

Now you done it, now I need to know the views of "Dexy's Midnight Riders," "Duran Duran," and "A Flock of Seagulls." Oh yes, also add into the mix "Pink Lady and Jeff." B-)

Don't forget about Lisa Loeb, Tori Spelling and that guy from Land of the Lost.

Which one from the Land of the Lost, Spencer Milligan who played the old man or "Wesley" who played his son? What about Holly's views? We can't be sexist ya know! B-) Nor can we be "species challenged," I'd dearly LOVE to know Enik's (the brown Sleestak from the past), the green talking Sleestak, and of course, we can't forget The Zarn or "The Library of Skulls."

Dang, wish "Shazam and Isis" were real, can you imaging them saving Terri? B-(

BTW, a quick note, I need a humor break here to keep me from truly crying or heading to blind range, the humor is NOT directed at Terri or her situation but poking fun at that idiot Moby.

In 1974, when Land of the Lost came out, I was 8 years old, the Sleestak really scare me, I'll be 39 and they still bring about a small amount of fear in me. B-) Tell you the truth, I fear activist judges much more, I'd rather deal with the Sleestak.

Wow I wish I had your memory! The Land of the Lost terrified me as a kid. I think I've blocked a lot of it out since then!!!!

When are they bringing it back on DVD? LOL!
