Dr. Hammesfahr was excellent on Hannity yesterday - or whatever day it was. He also spent a long day in FL talking to the holdout senators etc., I heard that somewhere. I think he is going out of his way to help Terri, maybe just tired of repeating himself, AND just plain tired, and referring people to the site for the details. He was credible to me, and the claim by the social services appeal's doc backs it up and vice versa.

Carla Sauer Iyer came forward and gave a Affadavit on Dec 15, 2003. The Schindlers didn't know about her in Sept. The nurse contacted them.

Hi there, pris -- I don't have anything to add to the two specific points you request more info on, but it sure is good to see you here. There is a disconnect in the media on this, that's why you don't see a lot of the info until you start digging on the internet. Sorta like Waco.

Here's an excerpt from the Media Matters website - "CNN, Fox featured ex-Schiavo nurse whose affidavit was dismissed as "incredible" by judge"

Rabidly partisan Media Matters site dismissed as "incredible," in turn, by the educated portion of the American public. :)

The judge stated it was incredible as it amounted to a 15 month coverup that would have included the staff, guardian, doctors, police and the Schindlers themselves...as Carla states she would call and tell them all the time what was going on....yet they made no complaints to staff or police.

What does FWIW mean?

For some reason, it has become fashionable to use alphabet soup in order to appear sophisticated.

The Schindlers seem to be simple people who try to avoid trouble. Michael, based on the public history of violence and domestic abuse, seems to be a bully that likes causing trouble. Terri seems like she was awed by Michael and only admitted to herself what a jerk he was too late. I've seen tons and tons of young girls fall for creeps, because creeps know how to put on a good show and flatter girls. I've seen tons and tons of simple people tolerate outrageous abuse in their effort to be peaceful and just get along with people.

The Schinlders were swindled by Michael all along. Michael's employer at the time of Terri's collapse was an attorney, and the Schindlers naively believed he had Terri's best interest at heart. They were soon cut out of any decision making, and by the time they realized they needed to take action and educated themselves on what action was necessary it was too late.

I've never hear Dr. H himself brag about his nomination to the Nobel Committee, it is always someone else. As far as I'm concerned, it's not something worth bragging about, anyway.

The nurse has some weird things in her background. Supposedly she reported wrong doings to the polic, yet the police did nothing that has surfaced so far.

She said she was fired from her job for reporting what Michael was doing.

A Freeper turned up a document, maybe hospice? that indicated she was fired for making weird accusations that other nurses were killing everybody. For what it's worth.

Hammesfahr.....several Freepers have mentioned an uneasiness with this guy. One news article described some of his treatments as "experimental". Seems I read in another he's an advocate for stem cell research?

Greer did include him among the doctors who examined her and did include him in his description that said all the doctors are "well credentialed."

Could he have an uterior motive? Get his name out in the media, be seen as a leading edge of technology in the med field and get grant money for his experiments? Who knows.
My 2 cents.
