RECOUNT! RECOUNT! RECOUNT!

I can't believe this is happening. It's as if we're reliving Election 2000 all over again.

:) Denote sarcasm.

I'm pulling for the fat guy or the nanny lookalike (who stunk last night).

If I were a true skeptic, I'd guess the producer didn't like the vote results and created this snafu so there could be a do-over show.

Money, Money, Money, Money, Money, Money, Money!!

Carrie was awesome last night. She and Bo should win it based on pure talent and personality. Mikalah needs to go this week (I will not miss her voice for a moment).

30 million? Wow. That's almost half as many as Star Trek, before it was cancelled for low ratings.

So will they just replay the tape of yesterday's show? I voted for several people: Vonzell, Anwar, Bo, Scott and Constantine. Really I am just hoping Mikalah is gone this week. Please don't make me listen to her sing another song. She has a wonderful and charming personality, but she's an awful singer. She should try acting.

Anwar is my favorite singer; but if he doesn't start doing a better job picking songs, he's going to be gone soon.

My favorite performance last night was from Constantine, closely followed by Vonzell and then Bo..and then Scott. I thought the choice of The Partridge Family song was just hilarious.

How about Paula Abdul last night? She was out of control with first kissing Simon when he agreed with her and then snapping at him when he disagreed. I bet she is not part of the voting panel next season.

To once again quote Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog, singing about the Ruben vs. Clay debacle a while back:

Ruben or Clay, which one do I pick?
It's like trying to choose which puddle of vomit to lick.

Was this done on purpose to create another week's worth of ratings?

I do not watch Idol; don't understand entertainment value. But it is entertaining watching Idol fans (the type that actually spend money to vote) being scammed.

So what is the phone charge for voting-- $1 x 20 million calls = $20m

Phone company guy to phone number posting guy, "Post the wrong numbers tonight and it’s worth $25,000 big ones"

Phone Company nets an additional $20m for the do over night.

Guess I've been watching too much 24.

My sister watches this show religiously. I don't get it. It's a modern day 'Gong Show' without the gong( and boy do they need it, or a hook to drag'em offstage!) Lots of screaming people copying whatever 'star' they like most. I've heard better singers in school talent shows!
Besides, it's all manufactured. First, no matter HOW good a female might sing, if she's pudgy and/or homely, she's not not going to win. Guys can be hefty, and I think blacks are more accepting of larger females if they can sing, but the white chicks had better be Brittney Bodied or the greatest voice in the world isn't going to help them.
Lets see, if there's a pattern of 'fairness' to who wins, I'd say, based on past 'winners', this time it has to be a white male.
