"...just TRY to get him to move at o dark thirty, when you need more covers..."

Exactly what I was refering to...Meara knows when it's bed time...it's a race I mostly win, but when I lose, it turns into a shoving match.

I don't always win.

Well, admittedly, I do suffer from mild dyslexia.
Never with numbers, only with letters, typing, and reading whole sentences.
(Ever read a sentence and find you've actually read half of one, and half of another, and still somehow formed a coherent sentence? I do that all the time.)
*chuckle*

Yes, my typing does need lots of help.
LOTS of help.

Kewl, that Plott looks just like my old Plott "Trooper"
My grandmother was Annie Plott from South Carolina.
Great dogs, Trooper even was abducted by space aliens
and lived to tell about it!

Now I have a Blue Heeler, my choice as greatest dogs in
the world.

I'm a breed I never heard of -- a Fila Braziliero.

Description: Outstanding courage, determination, and bravery are part of these dog's characteristics. It is docile and obedient (!) to his owners and family and extremely tolerant of children in his own family. Its faithfulness became a Brazilian proverb. You do not teach your Fila to protect you. He shows a calm disposition, self-assurance, and self-confidence. An unsurpassed guardian of property, he is also inclined by disposition to hunt big game and herd cattle. The Fila is NOT a breed for the average pet owner. Some Filas may drool, especially after drinking.

All true (maybe not the obedience bit!) -- especially the drooling part! :-)

I just love this moniker "Tinker the Wonder Puppy." That's hilarious and deeply cute.

LOL! I don't think you have anything to worry about. I do like the fact that I have a "rough and long luxurious mane." ;-)

Thanks! I named him, he was Hub's birthday present from me to him last year--we really love him! Tinker the Wonder Puppy IS hilarious and deeply cute--moving toward magnificent, rapidly!

There's a website with pictures of the American Mastiff, where we got our dog:

http://www.flyingwfarms.com

Ours is fawn. I don't think his picture is up, there, yet, but it will be one of these years...absolutely wonderful dogs. Bar none the best.

PS, We have a minipin female, Bebe, also. She is the absolute ruler of Tink, but he does outwit her because she is not actually very bright. But also loveable, of course.
