ARE YOU READY FOR A $20 MILLION WRONGFUL DEATH LAWSUIT AGAINST MICHAEL SCHIAVO, Does 1-10
the news | 3-22-05 | dfu

Posted on 03/22/2005 8:35:01 AM PST by doug from upland

It appears that Terri Schiavo is going to be starved and dehydrated. I don't see how it going to be stopped short of a kidnapping to save her life.

If we are to believe sworn affidavits, Michael Schiavo denied his beloved wife rehab, speech, and occupational therapy. Terri actually was able to drink from a baby bottle and ate pudding and jello. He threatened to fire a nurse if she got nourishment from anything but the feeding tube?

Why just the feeding tube? Because he could have that pulled and starve her to death. He had no interest in seeing that she learn to eat again.

A nurse has said that Terri was able to say "mommy," "help me," "hi," and express when she was in pain.

Terri is also being denied communion.

Michael thinks it is over when he has managed to starve and dehydrate her to death? No, Michael, I don't think so.

There will be a wrongful death suit filed of perhaps $20 million. The evidence will come out about the denial of rehab. Her broken bones will be investigated. Ultimately, Michael, some of the truth is going to see the light of day. You are not going to get away with it. Not in this life. Not in the next.

I agree. He probably would have had some type of accident by now.

I was thinking about this this morning. They can't touch him for attempted murder regardless of what facts come to light due to statutes of limitations, but if they do manage to starve her to death, can they pursue murder charges against him (assuming the evidence does point to his involvement in her condition)? The judge ordered her death, but if it can be shown that this whole ordeal has been Michael's attempt to finish what he started (again, assuming he is guilty of causing her condition), would it matter that the court allowed it?

Call me cynical, but it occurred to me this morning that if Terri's family gets custody of her, I would expect lawsuits against the hospice, Michael, and the State of Florida.

Maybe that is why the Parents are not getting the cooperation of the courts. Perhaps these doctors, judges, lawyers..have something to loose?

Thanks for this vanity, Doug. I'm proud of every FReeper who understands that Terri's family doesn't want money, they want their daughter ALIVE.

Regardless of whether Terri lives of dies, I expect her family to cash in.

And that, of course, is the American Dream!

Your cynical post proves that you really don't know much of anything about this case. It was NOT a nurse that heard Terri say that on Friday, it was an attorney.

I am sick of you death mongers who act like know-it-alls and prove time and time again that you know nothing. All you know is what the news readers on CNN tell you.

>"There will be a wrongful death suit filed of perhaps $20 million."<

Where have you heard that? Is that just speculation, or is there more to it?

Doug, I respect you too much so I won't do it behind your back. But I've asked for this whole thread to be pulled. It almosts constitutes a threat towards Schiavo and if, God forbid, something happens to him, I wouldn't want FreeRepublic to be dragged into it.

I hope that ex-Scientologists will come out in droves as State's Witness -- and that the Discovery phase of the trial opens one of the most evil cans of worms -- human worms feeding on those yet living and made weathier by the death of their victims.

God in Heaven, execute TRUE JUSTICE quickly! Amen.

Are there any links to Terri talking?

Does anyone know who, under Florida law, has the power to order an autopsy of this lady? I'm sure her loving husband will want her cremated immediately. If law enforcement orders her to be autopsied, maybe hubby will have a change of heart on the feeding tube.

Ultimately, Michael, some of the truth is going to see the light of day.

Not here, of course. We're lookin' for a lynchin', so we don't need none of that truth stuff.

I disagree that the nurse is lying. I have taken care of patients exactly like Terri, and THEY DO TALK. The fact that it might not be perfect enunciation doesn't matter.

I don't know how you can say, "The lies have to stop."

Especially if supported by the police report Ayler filed at the time. This doesn't sound like some nut that has just come out of the woodwork to get her 15 minutes.

"The lies have to stop."

The latest incoherency is that the judge and hubby's lawyer are connected to hospice. And this is somehow "proof" of misdoing and conflict of interest. Yet the conflict of interest would be if the judge ruled the opposite and profitted by ongoing care of a patient with money to pay for the care.

Exactly.......

Who would just leave a "murder weapon" in the trash and NOT ALERT LE?

I'm not so sure (IF there was a murder attempt at all), Nurse Carla isn't the suspect and tried to frame MS.

I'll bet the ranch, when all is said & done, MS is going to file some BIG FAT LIBEL SUITS, against a host of people.....beginning with (ALL) the lying Schindlers.

Well, now EggsAckley has written that it wasn't the nurse who heard Terri speak, it was a lawyer, and we all know that lawyers never lie.

facts don't mean anything to these people. They are blinded by their ideology. I worry about posts like this for the credibility of FreeRepublic.
