It appears that Terri Schiavo is going to be starved and dehydrated. I don't see how it going to be stopped short of a kidnapping to save her life.
If we are to believe sworn affidavits, Michael Schiavo denied his beloved wife rehab, speech, and occupational therapy. Terri actually was able to drink from a baby bottle and ate pudding and jello. He threatened to fire a nurse if she got nourishment from anything but the feeding tube?
Why just the feeding tube? Because he could have that pulled and starve her to death. He had no interest in seeing that she learn to eat again.
A nurse has said that Terri was able to say "mommy," "help me," "hi," and express when she was in pain.
Terri is also being denied communion.
Michael thinks it is over when he has managed to starve and dehydrate her to death? No, Michael, I don't think so.
There will be a wrongful death suit filed of perhaps $20 million. The evidence will come out about the denial of rehab. Her broken bones will be investigated. Ultimately, Michael, some of the truth is going to see the light of day. You are not going to get away with it. Not in this life. Not in the next.
Rush is currently has audio of testimony Terri's nurse's referring to Michael allegedly giving Terri insulin, due to hypoglycemic signs and symptoms in Terri and later finding a vial of insulin at bedside,seems like attempted murder, but I'm just the court of public opinion.
Michael also saying electrolytes diminish in starvation, but it is just the opposite, they become concentrated.

Agreed. And since it cannot be proved what Terri's private conversations were with Michael years ago, I choose not to believe his testimony where he is contradicted by other evidence and the testimony of others.
Morally reprehensible are your insults to people in this forum who are attempting to discern the facts of Michael Schiavo's actions and behavior, pose rational questions or disagree with you.
Those on the opposite side are inclined to err on the side of life. You, however, appear to want the "whole thing over with and die already."
I expect to read your voluminous posts on this thread for 9 more days or until Terri's death, whichever comes first.

I really didn't follow this case much. What I believed was going on was that there was a woman in a vegatative state. She was on life support. She had told her beloved husband she didn't want to live like that. He did everything he could for her.
From those naive initial beliefs, I have come to learn that there is much more to the story. Something is wrong with this picture.
It's getting worse.

Ok, tell us then, when did MS want to pull Terri's feeding tube? Was it before the settlement or after?
And wasn't part of the justification for the settlement Terri living another 50 years?

I don't think I can. I think aside from responding to pings, I'll just let freepers who don't know the basics of what PVS is or the case rattle off any insane thing they want. It doesn't reflect well on FR but it's like swimming against the tide. I thought we were better than this.
When freepers aren't willing to rely on medical testimony spanning 15 years but instead just make stuff up out of whole cloth, I realize that the easily done research of the internet has really taken off the way I thought it had. After all, it's so much more fun to gossip, isn't it?
And I've also come to realize after reading threads here and ON ATRW that people do not have a single solitary clue what PVS is. None.
On Scarborough Country last night on MSNBC, Joe interviewed some childhood friends of Terri. One thing that was said, and repeated here was that MS was VERY controlling.
BUT THE BIGGER thing I heard was that one of the people (not sure whether it was a man or woman) said that their marriage was very bad, that Terri wanted to move out AND that the night before her "heart stopped" she was at her parents, who told her to stay the night at her place.
THE NEXT DAY she was "found" by MS, face down (?) on the floor.
Sickening, absolutely sickening.

How do you know for a *fact* that this nurse is lying?
I saw her on Fox and Friends, and she sounded quite credible to me.
But do you know this nurse personally? What is the basis for your accusation that she is lying?
Would you rather believe a man who is living with another woman, fathering children with, and is for all intents and purposes; Terry's ex-husband?
Of course, that would have to be heard in front of one of the Black Robed fraternity members, wouldn't it? And we know who they protect.
I believe impeachment by the Florida House is the place to start for Greer. His mistakes, biases, and brusque denial of every reasonable request or evidence should be voted on by the Florida house - I suspect he would not survive such a vote. He'll be up for re-election in Pinellas in a few years, but why wait? Start the retaliation now.
Come to think of it, I'd say the entire judiciary in Florida could come under scrutiny. Time for them to be held accountable.

Court transcripts only reflect what is ADMITTED into EVIDENCE.
And as I understand it, LOTS was not admitted.

God gave her 82 years and a family that loved her. If the meek shall inherit the earth, my mom is our landlord.
I have taken care of probably 20 PVS patients in my lifetime, and never thought one was a living body with a dead brain or that their souls had departed. All could respond or communicate in some subtle way. Your experience is.....?
