She was palpated. The vet said she had hold of its leg, that it was laying on it's back. She said it was small, but not to small to raise concerns, and it was alive.

Hard to imagine she could be wrong about that.

Do you wonder about fescue? I know you intentionally took her off of it, but is there any other opinion out there about when is the right time?

I guess there's actually lots of things that could have been wrong, something that wasn't right with the foal for whatever reason.

I wonder if there's any way to know now.
