This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in . There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news . Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Good morning
Becky
I have some very good friends who were born and raised in Wales. It is a beautiful part of the UK. : D
Mount Snowdon is amazing and I have climbed it many times. : ) It is a good place to backpack.
Good morning Becky! How are the bruises? Sorry to hear about your fall.
Thanks, but actually, I have no bruises at all. The fall really did not hurt at all. I held on so good that I was not that far from the ground when I did finally come off, and I landed very easy.
I was afraid I might be sore today just from the strain of hanging on, but I'm fine, no aches or pains:)
Thanks for asking tho, and being concerned.
Becky
Keith is giving you a hard time. Bring out the pokey stick.
Mornin' Becky. Glad you hear you aren't sore this morning.
Is it raining up there? It's gray, gloomy warm and humid today but no rain. Not much in the forecast either.
What are your plans for the memorial day weekend? I just posted a story that was in the star telegram about the Texas coasts being bombarded by stinky seaweed.
If you post on any of my threads, please act normal. You're gonna get banned again if you don't and we enjoy having your sense of humor here.
Morning! Have your children finished school for the year?
Don't have any. Just hanging around here doing stuff, I guess. The kids saw Madagascar yesterday and loved it. We'll probably have to see it a dozen more times before summer is over.
We haven't had any rain here, either. Finally had to turn the sprinklers on, something we usually don't have to mess with until July.
"I'm afraid to venture out in the other threads. May get banned"
Good thinking.
Did you know "Lord of the Rings" was made in New Zealand? Beautiful place. Did your friends have any interesting stories about it?
I just looked on the radar, there's a ton of rain heading this way, you'll get it before me.
Oh, I'm sorry Sharn, I missed this post. Yes, my kids are out of that crazy school forever and I'm so glad. What a nutball place.
