Tell people who don't understand that every president since Washington has issued executive orders and there is flexibility.
Hundreds of posts are calling for the impeachment of Greer, Whittemore and every other judge who has found for the Michael Schiavo, for essentially not finding in Terri's favor. So if President George W. Bush fails to act—or perhaps not act—in Terri's interest, and he does not send in the troops, do we add Bush's name to that list of people to impeach in this matter?
I ask this not to be quarrelsome, but because that is exactly the argument that will be used by those on the left. We need to face the issue first.
I want Terri's life to continue. I would like nothing more than to see her husband lose his rights are her guardian, but is this the step we want to take to make this happen?
