No, we shouldn't do any such thing. The President did what he could and he can't overstep his power.
This is between God who has the power of life and death and Terri.

If Klinton could call in the storm troopers to send little Elian to Cuba, Bush can call on some troops to put Terri's feeding tube back in.

I'm not sure that is the best thing to do, and executive order for this one person seems to circumvent all the checks and balances we have now.....Congress has done what it needs to do....You want the executive branch to start interceding in personal family matters????????

Can you tell us where it says that an executive order is a legal option? Bush is going to stay within his constitutional powers-- as he should.

This transcends family matters. We are talking about the vagaries of a broken judicial system in FL allowing a man to kill his wife.

Hi NorCaRepub, I think you replied to the wrong post (?)
;)I agreed with you

The president pardons a turkey each Thanksgiving. Why can't he issue a "pardon" for Terri?

Well, this will make conservatives look good.

if you think the whole judicial system if broke in Florida, then we have a bigger mess than this case....Thinking it is broken cause they have continuously ruled against you does not constitute an executive order IMO

Can you tell us where it says that an executive order is a legal option? Are you saying that the president should let her die when he has the power to keep her alive?

More importantly, it is TIME FOR THE FLA. LEGISLATORS WHO CHICKENED OUT EARLIER (the Republican 9) GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AND STOP THIS CRAPOLA!!! All we needed was 3 more Senators and all this maneuvering would be moot!
The fault lies in Florida....if Gov. Bush is unable to do anything, W is out of the picture now!!
The Fla. Republican 9 are surely holding their fingers up to the wind....Floridians should protest them!!!
