Bump is used when someone wants to post a reply to a thread simply to "bump" it back to the top of the "Latest Posts" list so more visitors will see it. BTTT - "Back To The Top" is used interchangeably with "Bump".

I, too, have no idea. I believe it to be some sort of zotting device, but I cannot, for the life of me, find it on my keyboard. It wasn't series enough for me to spend a hugh amount of time looking for the answer. Stuning as that might be.....

So are BTTT/Bump, (these I understand) and Beeber (this I don't) somehow related?

Hey RBNY, welcome to the forums.
A ZOT is the banning of a troll (a [usually] liberal poster who registers to the forums and posts [95% of the time] incredibly pathetic drivel).
The Viking Kitties are a group of FreeRepublic members who alert the Moderators to the troll posting and, for lack of a better term, flame the troll.
BTTT is short for "Bump to the Top". If you post BTTT, you are "bumping" the thread to the top of the forums, thereby making it noticed.
Go to http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/673536/posts for a good review of common FreeRepublic terms.

opps:

I Started a Post
Troll Zot Theme
I started a post, which brought out the Viking Kitties.
But I didnt see, that the Mods would ban me, oh no.
I smelled some ozone, which started the Freepers, laughing.
Oh if Id only seen that the Mods would ban me.

It came from the sky the sudden flash blinding my eyes.
And I laid there in bed, then someone said, Jim he is dead.
From Zot I had died, which started the Freepers, paving.
No I hadnt seen that the Mods would ban me.

It came from the sky the sudden flash blinding my eyes.
And I laid there in bed, then someone said, Jim he is dead.
From Zot I had died, which started the Freepers, paving.
No I hadnt seen that the Mods would ban me.
Oh oh no that Mods would ban me.

From; I started a Joke, Bee Gees.

And I see you have discovered a new code to make text blink. You are becoming very fond of this code, ci senior? ^_~ Oh, yeah. I have been using "" here lately. If you want to use it, here is the HTML code:
< b >< font color = red >< blink > YOUR TEXT HERE! < P >< /b> < /font >< /blink >
Just take out all the "spaces" between the <'s and the >'s before using that, though.
