As scandals go, I'd give this a 1 an 1/2 on a scale of ten.

There has ALWAYS been a casting couch in showbiz...even at the Metropolitan Opera.

Why do I think Cory's parents had something to do with this, despite their faux outrage? They've been in show biz for decades. They know the ropes.

I had to laugh out loud when the poor seduced young man told that he slept in the dogs' room at Paula's house. Then he named the three dogs, as if this would make his story more credible.

I'll still watch American Idol. They do need a couple of new judges, though.

Exactly. This "report" was just a hatchet job. I feel dirty for having watched it, but I'm glad I did. It shows how far ABC News has sunk.

I didn't wathc the ABC "expose", but from the comments I've read here, it almost seems like ABC is daring Fox/AI to sue them for libel. Do you think ABC has something else they really want to report, but can't prove, and want to get involved in a lawsuit so they can find the evidence they want via the discovery process? (A kind of fishing expedition, so to speak...)
