I got in 5 votes for Bo, since I was getting a lot of busy signals. I'm a little disappointed, but also relieved that Bo doesn't have to record that "Heaven" single, which is more country than rock.

"My only disappointment is that seven of the final contestants did not intervene to avoid a showdown vote between Bo and Carrie. Or am I getting my FR threads mixed up?"
LMAO!!
Constatine McCain tried to get them together for a last minute "deal" but Ryan SeaFrist wouldn't allow it.

You did a great job with it and the right person won the crown. Carrie will do the things and fit the part that AI's producers want. Bo will have a great career, too.

It will be mid August for me and my girls. If you think about it, post a review here on this thread and ping me.
If you remember. I'm excited about going.

"Ryan SeaFrist" LOL!
Local news anchor (normally a very stiff guy) is speechless watching tonight's Idol clips. Says he's impressed with both Bo and Carrie. Same here.

They each broke up with their bf/gf so they could be together. They would curl up all cozy together on couches and sing to each other. She calls him "Anthy Bear." They are in love. Should make for great theater at the concerts.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are going to seem weird now with no AI and no House.

Carrie was wonderful last night. Wonderful. The "Angels" song she did was breathtaking and so is she.
I started screaming when she won and my cats are hiding.
Does anyone agree that with her range of voice and her heartful singing she could sing the blues, torch songs and the classics (like "At Last") and how about "My Man" from Funny Girl.
Sorry for the raving. I am soooo glad she won!!

I think Carrie sounded best tonight -with the pressure of competing off and perhaps an inkling that she would win. Her "performance" can still improve, and she needs to avoid too loud oversinging that he occasionally falls into. But again, that may have been nerves and trying to hard.
