Agree. She does look great. Still don't care for that shirt though. :-)

And one that our pop culture and the fashion industry foist on young girls, as well. Yes, they do. Very sad.

Simon Cowell is a music producer and executive of the BMG UK record company whose blunt assessments of the contestants on TV's American Idol made him the most talked about personality on the show's panel of judges. Cowell has been in the pop music business in the United Kingdom since the 1970s, and is credited with "discovering" such pop stars as the boy band Westlife and the pop duo Robson and Jerome. Cowell's specialty is marketing TV and pop music together, and in 2001 he hosted the forerunner to American Idol, England's U.K. Pop Idol.

Is scary Mary that short-haired blonde girl who really seemed to have people talking in her head to her?
That gal was a psycho.

Yeah and she was dressed like Gilligan. I can't believe she didn't make the top ten. She was nuts and a horrible singer.

Kelly's butt has always been on the large side, but the girl is not fat. There was a time in our culture when such well-rounded girls would have been thought to have beautiful figures. Don't believe me? Check out photos of Marilyn Monroe in her prime, or Jane Russell, just for two examples.

And one that our gay men and the fashion industry foist on young girls, as well.Yep. And as the mother of two girls, I just hate that. Both of my girls are nice and slender, but I would hate to think of the pressure they would be under if they weren't.

Exactly! It's really sad that some people think a girl who looks like that is fat.

You're exactly right. It was very attractive in the 19th century. I always use paintings by Renoir, etc to illustrate that point. They were always full-figured women.
