Don't care....I prefer this one for rerasons stated above.
Drudge reports that "Desperate Housewives" beat out "Am Idol" last week...so maybe we'll see something new on Idol to jack up ratings?!?!
I have it, I do..but how else can I participate on the live thread?..Doh?
LOL!!! I guess you can't have everything!
Beats me..I was never a Lynyd Synyrd fan..must be a generational thing...
My normal TV habits are as follows..the one or two programs..like L&O, a night I might want to watch, I tape..play them back the next day, while working out...you can watch 120 minutes of TV in about 75 minutes using the fast forward button..MY real time TV.evenings..involces prodigious use of the remote control..a guy thing...watch about 3 baseball, 2 basketball games, and O'Reilly and Nanycy Grace simultaneously...my idea of multitasking..
Tony 'spained it in #2577
Saw it at a Three Dog Night concert many many moons
ago in Red Rock amphitheater outside Denver.
I've never been much of a rocker, 'cept when I'm off mine.
I just wanted to tell you that I think Carrie was spectacular last night. Finally! A terrific ALL-AROUND performance from her. The gang on the #1 local morning TV news program here in L.A. all said she was terrific. Mark Kreski, the weather guy, even said he was embarrassed to admit it, but he and his wife voted for the first time last night, and they voted for Carrie.
I hate to admit it, but once again Constantine was the best of the men. Bo seems to be fading.
I have never thought as badly of Anthony as the judges have, but I thought his performance last night was all over the place. Scott's performance was good, but his attitude might have cost him votes. The one I would like to see go tonight is Anwar, but I think it might be Anthony, Scott, or Nadia.
Vonzell was also good, and with Bo fading a bit, I'm starting to think she might make the final three.
I was at the first Beatles US concert at Shea Stadium..the girl I was dating in HS, her dad was an NYPD Captain, on the concert security detail.he snuck us in.we got to sit right in front of one of the speakers.I never had the desire to go to a concert again, ever..
Ha! What an earie thought.
I love live music...if it's not too loud.
So that pretty much rules out rock concerts for me, too.
Kenny Loggins was at the DelMar Fair last summer
here in San Diego. He was wonderful.
The absolute best investment any music lover can make is a good headphone set. You can get totally lost in the music..
Another good investment for a music lover is to
have a home business so you can dance around the
house all day ...... singing =^)
Bottom Three
Ivan .. (Anthony)
Hair Bear ... (Nadia)
Slingblade ...AKA Smart ass fat boy
By-By ... Fat boy

Wasn't she something! Carrie removed all doubt who the next American Idol should be. She also proved that her feet aren't glued to the stage! Great job.
Constantine was the best of the men. Bo seems to be fading.
I don't know what to make of Bo. He blew everybody away at the beginning with his Allman Bros. tunes, but it seems like he can't adapt to the competition. Lt. Dan, I'm sad to say, can adapt--at least more so than Bo. But I still say his rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" was all tongue and hair.
My picks for the bottom three are Scott, Nadia and Anwar. Slingblade could fall easily, but so could Nadia, who I think has lost a lot of her fan-base to Vonzelle.
Tonight's show should be veddy interestink :)
You're welcome ;)
If the prevailing opinion over on the AI boards is any guide, Scott will be gone tonight -- not for his singing, but because he came back at Simon.
Also if the info on those boards can be trusted, Josh Gracin will be performing on AI tonight. If so, I'd be glad, because I like Josh.
I am now convinced that Queen should dump Paul Rogers (ex Bad Company) as their new front man and replace him with Constantine.
ROFLMAO!!!
Noticed that, too. Not that I'm complaining--the less I see of him the better :)
Scott will be gone tonight -- not for his singing, but because he came back at Simon.
You know, the only thing that was keeping Slingblade in the competition was the pity vote. Now, thanks to his big dumb mouth, that's gone. Way to go, genius!
Josh Gracin will be performing on AI tonight.
Really? It'll be interesting to see how Simon greets him. (From what I've read, they can't stand each other.) BTW, I think Josh will also be singing the National Anthem before the NASCAR race this Sunday. I was never a big fan of his, but I'm glad that he's doing well.
Really?
