I see Anthony is trying to loose a bit of the boyishness by letting his facial hair grow.

My daughter said she'd like to see him darken his hair a bit. I don't know about that.....

Neither Carrie nor Bo was at Nascar today, so you're probably right about Bo recording also. They sang the National Anthem A Capella and they sounded really good.

It was Anthony, Anwar, Jessica, Nadia, Scott, Niko, Vonzell and Constantine.

I had sort of expected Lindsey also since she was in the finale, but I guess they are just using the top ten.

They really sounded great and they were very dressed down in Nascar t-shirts and jeans. Jessica was very dominant vocally and it looked like Vonzel was trying too hard as usual, but you really couldn't hear her so much.

They mostly blended very well.

Not surprisingly, Constantine even tried a bit of the "look", even during the National Anthem. More than a little bit out of place, but actually he didn't do it as much as usual.

There was a military flyover after they were finished.

You may have seen all of this though.....

That has GOT to be so thrilling for her! She's just three spots below Britney. (yuck, that is one nasty girl...)

Carrie will be a very good role model for the young girls.

I see Kelly's song is at number 4. I'm very happy for her too.

Yeah, I DVRed the first 30 minutes so I could see how they did. I would have liked Carrie and Bo there, too, but I understand.

I'm glad you saw it too! That really would be a nice performance to include on a group CD.

Their voices blended together quite well didn't they? Jessica was a little loud in a couple of parts but she had that nice soaring sound that sounds so good in that song.

I wonder how our little Ukranain felt, singing after the army choral group, after the Old Guard and then to sing our National Anthem, followed by a flyover, at NASCAR.

That stuff is about as American as you get. Does anyone know if Anthony is a citizen yet?
