I asked about that up thread a couple of days ago and someone answered that they could sing. Anthony was singing on Ellen so I asked about it.
They said that it was just more publicity for AI and AI merchandise, so they could do it.
The schedule that was posted says that Carrie sings on Regis and Kelly, The Early Show and ET.
I was most impressed with this interview. She made Leno and Lauer act like young boys around a cute girl.

I think he weighed their performances each week and evaluated them weekly which is why he would change 'favorites' now an then.
On Conan he said that critics were complaining that this was the worst group of contestants ever.
And that Paula chimed in that they were terrible in bed, too.

He didn't say anything about having them on. I usually just catch the monologues then shut them off unless they have a guest I really want to see, which they usually don't.
