March Madness is here ! The selection show for the women's tourney is on ESPN at 5 PM EST and the men's draw will follow at 6 PM EST. This thread is for crazy hoops fans !
So far, I mis-picked 'Bama, UCLA (hate that, my gut told me to go with Texas Tech), Minn., and Utah. Looks like the four games going on now are up for grabs. I hope Duke pulls away with it, I have them going to the finals.
I didn't get in on the FR pool, just one at work. Don't know how I missed it!
My team's (Ohio State) not in the hunt, but bet they will be next year!

empire is a good word. recruiting is impacted by media. recruiting is everything. those journalists love to help ol'coach K recruit. journalists long ago buried engineering schools nc state and clemson with negative press. winning requires media brownnoses.
vitale is sickening in his praise of his favorites. those ref's play that game with a gift here and there, like those fouls they called against ga tech in the ACC tournament.
this is a CBS tv tournament. expect more bias.
not political? tin foil? Billy Packer was on IMUS yesterday talking about how the Atlanta hostage of Brian Nichols was lying. CBS is always political.
Coach K is not really a coach, but a manager. He recruits his players, tells them if they paly well they will get 40 minutes per game.
Coach K has blown leads in many big games, but the likes of Billy Packer (a Wake Forest Graduate) would never admit that.
Dean Smith was the only man to keep Jordan under 40-pts per game at UNC.
I am dead in the Albururque bracket though. I picked Ga. Tech and Wake to be in the Elite Eight and they're both gone. Watched the end of the Wake game Saturday night. WVa looked real good and would not give up.
I originally picked Illinois then crossed them out and went with Duke. I should say I held my nose and went with Duke. Even though they are ACC, to me they are the Dallas Cowboys of NCAA bball.
