Oh I believe the story is real. It's just the time and place that seem to be the question. Pet/deer stories are common where I live. A few years ago, some local teens out on their property saw a pregnant doe who had just been hit by a car. Because they were both hunters, they were able to cut open the doe and save the fawn. The fawn stayed with them on their property- with their dogs, until it was old enough to go to a petting zoo. They showed the fawn inside the house, which was hysterical!

I had pictures of my children and I when we saved a fawn a few years ago. They have always been at my desk until I got this email today.

I have no idea where those pics went. I wanted to post them on this thread.

I'm sure those pics are with my missing socks that vanish in the dryer.

My middle son was a new 3 at the time. He lifted the fencing on his own. He turned into the hulk. It was amazing. I pulled the fawn out and he took it as his own and carried it back to the park parking lot where we called the ranger.

I can't believe the pics aren't here at my desk. I'm frustrated about this.

DARN!

I'm sure there is truth to this story too. I'm also sure it has been added on to since it is an email forward.

Regardless, it is sweet and enjoyable. I can care less of the legend aspect. The real life news has been too intense lately and everyone needed to smile.
