The pop babe wrote in an open letter posted on her website, BritneySpears.com, that the 'Material Girl' singer helped pull her back from the brink of self-destruction after enlightening her about the mystical Jewish religion. With all due respect to the legitimate practitioners of Kabbalah, it seems to me that Ms. Spear's life has been on "the brink of self-destruction" AFTER her introduction to Madonna's form of Kabbalah.
