Britney Spears has thanked Madonna introducing her to the Kabbalah faith.
The pop babe wrote in an open letter posted on her website, BritneySpears.com, that the 'Material Girl' singer helped pull her back from the brink of self-destruction after enlightening her about the mystical Jewish religion.
She wrote: "Madonna first introduced Kabbalah to me at a time in my life when it was much needed.
It has helped me get rid of a lot of negative influences that were guiding me down the wrong path." The blonde babe also credits the sect for helping her get her life back on track after splitting with her first love, Justin Timberlake

With all due respect to the legitimate practitioners of Kabbalah, it seems to me that Ms. Spear's life has been on "the brink of self-destruction" AFTER her introduction to Madonna's form of Kabbalah.
