Got my 'soon to be mine' house inspected today. It went smooth, nothing big that I did not know about. The only largish thing is it need reshingled. The roof itself is still good it just needs the shingles replaced. A decent size job but one I know how to do and have done before.

That'll save you some real bucks! Luckily your roof isn't too far off the ground. That's one of the jobs SSQ is still wondering if he wants to tackle or pay someone to do. The whole house needs doing, cause the roof is 18 yrs. old and the builder didn't even put felt paper under the shingles, the bastige! So it will be a HUGH job.
