Evening Rosie - off traveling again, my word, you've become quite the adventurous young hobbit lass these past several months.
Have a great time at the mini-moot tomorrow.
So anyway, I've just been out to dinner with some of my friends and been confronted yet again with something I don't like, which is that now and then when we go out one of them will insist on picking up the check. It makes me feel so bad because I never know ahead of time they're planning to do that, so like tonight I ordered a drink with dinner. And then I can never return the favor because I'm just not in that position financially, and they know it. Which is probably why they do it in the first place.
And on the other hand they can afford to - the ones who make a habit of this still recieve significant support from their folks - and they're the ones who pick the restaurant, so... am I just worked up over nothing? Am I lacking in knowledge of some piece of adult etiquette here?
