Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hey there Ramius!
Surfing around trying to get my mind off of the fact that South Park is on and I can't watch it. Becky is in bed, but still awake. ~sigh~
I'll try to catch it on Saturday night.

Tell them you'll be out the night before the closing and not before. If they're so hot to trot to get in the house, they'll get the deal done! If you think you can afford a week's extension, get that in writing, with a financial penalty for a delay, since it was THEIR decision to buy with cash. They could have been trying to get a mortgage in this last month since they signed the contract. There is no reason for a mortgage to take more than a month from approval to closing nowadays. They COULD do the cash thing and then re-finance after the closing.

I'm gonna try to make sure I catch it. Looks to be a particularly vile episode, which, of course, is why we like it.
I live with this delusion that someday, somehow, we'll find out that there really *is* a boundary across which they will not tread. Like I said... its a delusion...

A delusion is right.
I'm convinced that their personal goal is to offend and ridicule every human being on the planet before they die.
And I'm sick enough to watch them do it. hehehe....
Just terrible.

What really bugs me... is that the next DVD's I want to get are a.) The Passion and b.) Team America. It's almost inevitable that I'll buy them both at the same time.
I need to carefully craft a witty response when the check-out person rings them up. :-)

Yikes. What a dilemma.
I'd just shrug and smile at the cashier. What else can you do?

Unless you want to say that you're bipolar and are trying out "video therapy" to regulate your mood swings.

You're not exactly old and decrepit, but I'd say "thesis" instead. ;-D
Can you imagine trying to come up with a way to work The Passion and South Park into the same text? What a brain-twister!

Well, they're both about the fall of man, and the inevitable cognitive dissatisfaction with civilization as the spiritual mechanism to achieve enlightenment. Or not.
Sorta.
It's only a working title. :-)

Stay away from the utilities. Win with the reds and the greens. Kentucky Ave. is the single most-landed-on space on the board. Kill for it. :-)
