Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Trust me, she's getting it real easy right now... gets her midterms moved around... everyone who knows is concerned for her... she's got another girl covering for her in class... and she's had three months to get used to a lack of caffeine.

Say wha? There's a story that's been posted a couple of times. Some worker that was helping to clear snow from the stadium before one of the playoffs got frost bite because he didn't wear gloves. He's suing the football franchise.

Did you listen to Glenn Beck the day he made Stu pay up for when the Eagles lost the Super Bowl? Yeah, I heard that.

Shhh.... ksen... don't tell, but I'm dragging a friend to a concert this weekend and not telling her the singers are (gasp) Reformed in their theology - Caedmon's Call, with Andrew Peterson - although I think anyone could like their songs...

There's a story that's been posted a couple of times. Some worker that was helping to clear snow from the stadium before one of the playoffs got frost bite because he didn't wear gloves. He's suing the football franchise. I clicked on a thread yesterday that said something about that... only it never said "Philadelphia Eagles" it only said "Eagles".... I am reading this story about clearing the stadium and frostbite with it stuck in my head that it was about the BAND The Eagles. I couldn't figure out why they'd be doing a stadium concert in that cold a weather.
It eventually clicked but until then, I was mush trying to make sense of it.

Is everything okay? That doesn't sound right that she is getting the special treatment otherwise.
