Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

t if'n I want to be "fully" in the program, it would cost $7,000.Goodness, that don't sound right!
Sounds like a couple of closed doors happening there, Corin...look for the open window! (Supposedly there's one somewhere...somebody said so to Maria...can't remember who off the top of my head.)

Goodness, that don't sound right! I don't want to say too much online ('cause they'd sue me for libel). But, the basic principles of this program are good. And I will likely continue to try to apply some of them. This would be to actually be "mentored" by the author. I'm sure it will work for the right people.
Funny tho, working through the book they tell you to make two commitments. One you will NOT do again. One you will do again. My "NOT" do again?
"I cannot borrow my way to financial security!" BWAHAHAHAHA! I should write 'em and tell 'em that!
And (in the movie at least), I believe it was Mother Superior who said to Maria "Sometimes when God closes a door" (and I seem to recall that Maria finished the quote) "He opens a window."
But, you know, that's the title for my book "Sometimes when God closes a door, He throws you through the attic ceiling."
;-)

Heh!! Apt title!
I chuckle every time you say that.

Hey, you remember when the trash guy was digging through my trash and eating popcorn at the same time? Just made me sick. So we got another trash service. My word, I am very impressed with them. Twice I have forgotten to put my can out on the road and they actually have come up on my drive, up to my house, and got my trash!
And they let me pay in person, if I can catch 'em! I like that...

That business program thing sounds like the punchline to a joke... good luck on all that anyway.

Some bad news I've been putting off thinking about...how on earth am I gonna ship this cumbersome thing! LOL!!
It's light, just bulky and will take a pretty big box.
Wish I could bubble wrap it and put it in one of those sealed plastic bags...but I have no idea how to go about that.

grrr....remember the document that the boss overedited last week? I just got an email asking where it was.
When I got it back from Rasputin the first time, he said "I could have saved you some of this if you'd run it by me first" (he got a copy). Oh please, Boss Troll would rewrite Scripture if he could get away with it.
So I just replied "I gave it back to Rasputin the day I got your edits."

I Braziled it...

No, we're just busy...
The department got a shipment of ten laptops, so I am replacing all the ram, which involves peeling off the shell, working around the keyboard, and nasty little screws. Not at all fun.
