hmm, I have been singing in church choir since I was 3 and I have never heard of any of those you have mentioned.
Never sung "O Sacred Head"? I thought it was a standard Good Friday hymn. Same with "Stricken, Smitten and Afflicted". At least standard in all the Protestant churches I've been to...
