Well, I can't handle baby diapers, noses or spit up... and I don't think ecurbh's any better, so I think I better stick to critters. I do OK with what comes out of animals ;~D
Did you get the vent issue fixed. Could there be another clog in it in the run up to the roof?

I suppose so, even though he's a mean spirited little twit. I can't say anything nice on his thread. The last time he posted to me, I had to endure a juvenile diatribe about how fat and frumpy I am.

We thought we did, rain the hose down it and everything and it seemed clear...but Suzi, there were leaves and such in the tub, amongst the other nasty stuff.
I dunno...it's confusing. Steve said he would run the hose down the vents again, just to be on the safe side, first chance he gets...probably this weekend.
I'd forgotten how nasty that was.
Let's wait and thank him when he gets back. Maybe he'll grow up in the process.
If he's not grown up already (reading the thread it seems he's in his late 30s?) will the Army do anything for him? For some wet-eared youth, sure, but he's got to be pretty set in his ways.

No, I actually appreciate the reminder that there are jackasses on our side as well.
My dad is coming to get the boys in a bit. He averages about once a week now.
Funny, before the blow-up, he played golf constantly and rarely had anything to with the boys at all. Now, I guess out of fear that they'd be distanced from him completely, he's always asking if he can come get them. Either that, or it's just nicer to be with the boys with me out of the way. :-D
Either way, it's what I wished for even before the blow-up, so it's all right.
I'm gonna go eat lunch with Steve.
Well, and you know, I admire people who have charitable feelings, but I also try to understand those who maybe just...don't.
That's what gets me about the Jennings thread. There are people who have really hard feelings toward him, probably even harder than I and I just gotta give them the benefit of the doubt that they are feeling emotional right now and saying things that perhaps deep in their hearts they don't even really mean.
Understanding their roots of their unhappiness with the man might be better than just trashing them for stating their feelings.

I just consider the level of bitterness that a person has to have in them, that prompts them to be so stupid towards others.
And what that particular person has dealt with that made him/her so bitter in the first place.
Methinks that alvy has had quite a number of female rejections in his lifetime and lashes out quite nastily at the softer sex whenever he can as revenge. Sad, really.
