Provided she was contrary...
We had three different cells treat us to hail today. Got backyard pics, will post soon.
Heh, I've noticed that quite often! When it actually is close, you know it...
I'll be looking forward to seeing it soon.
[whew] OK... I'm back... sorry for the delay...
Got sidetracked into a convo with one of my Lib friends about some topics.
That's odd... some people here were just talking about Paul Rubens... Hmmm... Serendipity.
Coolness.
Evenin' Mister Bowman... So... can I count on some bow lessons from the masters while I'm down at da moot?
She told me they had pizza and burgers for dinner and that the burgers came from EatMoot. ;-)
Would be happy to oblige but I think thegirl and theboy that live there will be showing us a thing or two.
Heh. I'd be alright with that. :-)
I OK with learning from my betters... and they don't have to be my elders... :-)
That's some hella hail.
:-)
Yeah, it sounded like someone was pounding the front door with hugh rocks.
Well... they *were* hugh rocks. :-)
Great to hear they're holding up well!
heh, ~were~ being the key word there. Actually the first cell hit giving us about nickel to quarter sized hail. The second cell hit just as the first hail was melting. Don't know if you can tell that from the pic (I tried to show the remnants of hail on the ground from the first and the new hail from the second.). Then the last two pictures are from the third cell, which was with a beautiful double rainbow (I wish I had thought to take the picture of the rainbow!).
Well, hail!
The hail you say...
Taught elf-boy how to swing a bat tonight. He has baseball practice tomorrow, and will show a considerable improvement, IMHO. Saturday at the game, the poor kid was holding the bat upside down (batting right-handed, but holding the bat left-handed), and swinging in slow motion around his waist. It was agonizing for me to watch him at bat. I can't believe the coach didn't catch what he was doing and try to correct it. Oh well. Now he knows how to hold the bat, how to swing it, and what not to swing at. I hope he remembers it tomorrow.
The hail must be the least of your problems, though... just look at those big green long snaky things that're fallin' outta the sky. Just dang... that would really freak me out. :-)
