Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

hehehehe...
That won't be necessary. In a sad, sick way I'm glad she keeps up this behavior. It only pushes me to work harder at staying focused on moving out in 2 years.
I vent to keep my sanity for the duration.

how and where is your time, energy, and gifts better spent?... Dude, did you just uninvite me?
Seriesly, those are some of the same things I'm thinkin'. At the same time, I've been holdin' down the fort for a long time. Other than Entmoot, not much has been done for Corin lately. And even then I left earlier than I wanted to take Jr. to Disney.
I know that's just part of bein' the Alpha Dwarf. But it sux sometimes.

I'll be there! I requested time free so I should be able to drive down Thursday or Friday, dependin' on Rosie. I'm really looking forward to it!
... that is, unless that happens to be the week my dad goes to Denver on business, in which case I'll have to miss :-(

Well, I hope you come. If you can possibly make it, do. Otherwise it could end up just being g'nad and Ruthy and I think that could be bad.

That orangutan looks like he's got a barrel of gas in that tummy of his. He's been eatin' too much sugar free candy. Let's just say I finally made the connection.
And that's all I have to say about that...

if rechargin' yer batteries with friends is whut you need to keep from cutting up those closest to you with a chainsaw, then so be it... Well, I don't own a chainsaw. And I guess the best thing to keep that from happening would be to ask for one for Father's Day.
If'n yuh know muh history, yuh get the point.
