Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And take the hidden paths that run...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I asked my Micobiology prof out. He was funny and SINGLE so I didn't have a problem morally. Until he started talking politics and he was such a bald-faced liberal I couldn't stand it. He kept calling and calling and I just never returned his calls.
I can't be bothered with some liberal.

Evening everyone! I've sorted through and uploaded all our pics of the trip to Arizona. I think there are some interesting shots whether you've been to that part of the country before or not!
Rather than clutter the thread with a hundred pictures, we've posted them to our new blog instead:
The ecurbh -n- Hair Gazette
Check it out! :~D
OK - I do hope to get caught up on the thread somewhat, but is there anything I really shouldn't miss knowing? I've been out of touch so long!
To: HairOfTheDog
Howdy... will check it out.

Wow! Great pictures...
Ecurbh: That's a beautiful job on the deck... ~love~ those rocks, and the way they were incorporated into the layout. Fantastic.

Yah, isn't it, though. Their contractor is a friend of my brother's from High School. An artist, he is!

Evenin'!
It's so nice to see your screenname back, chica! :-D
I'll check out the pics tomorrow at work. Attempting to view them here is a slow death with this lousy dial-up.

Why do you want to go to Scotland.... is this something I missed in the last week?
To: HairOfTheDog
I've frankly had it up to >< ~here~ with slow-death threads. [sigh]

Not really. I was thinking about how I want to see Scotland, New Zealand and Australia (in that order) before I die.
Things have been a bit stressful at home lately, so it's a cry for help. *smile*
The one Scottish tour I'd really love to take is almost $3k, excluding airfare. Yikes!

Hey there!
My crabs are conducting a mass molt.
I haven't seen one walking around the tank in days.
And no, they aren't dead Jim. I checked. :-D

You can come over here and help me out with my assignment... if my partners don't get their acts together I will need help with evidence, a new identity, or maybe a good alibi...
