Get a temp job until after ShootMoot....then you can take off whenever.What a great idea!! She's only got 6 weeks until Shootmoot anyway! There are surely several temp agencies in the area, and sometimes, they're a great way to 'try out' a job to see if you like it, or for an employer to try YOU out with no obligation on their part.

grrrrrr....
When I left this mornin' I heard the sound of chainsaws (mmmm...chainsaws). The naybers was havin' some trees trimmed.
I get home this evenin' and they've taken out a whole row of trees and bushes between us. I had a nice flower garden going in front of their hedge. Now it's like they built a picture window lookin' into my yard. I have no choice but to put up a privacy fence...or have them kilt.
The bizarre thing is, they're doin' all this work to solve a drainage problem.
Maybe I'll plant bamboo. That'd show 'em...

I don't like neighbors. Never wanted them.
Well, I take that back. I just love my neighbor across the street to death. We take care of each other. But even she knows I'd just soon there be five acres between us! ;-)
It's blowing a gale out there! The Big Windy has begun. Remember how I nearly got blown off the road last year? It blows like this ever Spring. "The wind comes sweepin' down the plain" and it means bidness. My windows rattle with the gusts!

These are nice folks. But my time to work or relax in the yard is limited. When I'm in the backyard, I don't want to be disturbed. Don't come over to talk to me about what I'm doing.

"I'm trying to do yard work and you're wasting my time..."That's where an MP3 or portable CD player with headphones comes in handy. You can wear them while you're working and ignore the neighbors, and they think you just can't hear them. ;o)
