In fact, I have just declared it very late rye-cheer*.
Actually, it was very late last night, very early this morning, and all day today that I've been doing something, and I have decided to do nothing for the next several hours, starting in about five minutes.
I may bore myself to sleep. Better me than you, is all I have to say about that.

*stretch* Finally got a chance to sit down and take a breath. I'm trying to catch most of 24...it's a great show!
Other than that, I sure do wish I was still on vacation!

Ok, I accomplished some studies today. Time to fix an omelet (it's back on Atkins for this plump hobbit!) and watch another episode of the Count of Monte Cristo anime - fansubbers, after ten days of torment, finally released it.
Have you heard from Hair and ecurbh? I'm assuming they made it safely. :-D

Yah... have heard from them... trip is going just fine by all accounts. They're in Prescott today/tonight. I think they head back up to Vegas tomorrow. So far no worries back at da farm either... so all things considered... its been a successful adventure so far.

Somewhere around April 7th, with a 24-hours either way window. She leaves next Monday...

As long as her future job cooperates, yup! Probably we'll take my car, it's smaller but gets amazing highway mileage. But we'll discuss that at the proper time.
So how was the vacation? Constant partyin', right? Tossin' shots and ridin' waves and wakin' up on the beach with seaweed in yer hair and cops askin' ya where you're from?

I ~so~ wish that was the case, but that would have been years ago.
I did get to spend good times with my kids. Went to the fair, ate everything I possibly could, got a nice base tan to start the summer off with and spent quite a few hours vegging on the couch with a good book.
I can't complain about that!
Tan? You're lucky. I hafta stay out of the sun... I don't tan, or brown, or anything. I'm either pasty white or bright burnt red. Last time I burned, I managed to burn my scalp, through my hair!

Not even with sunblock? You don't brown at all?
Maybe it has to do with living in a tropical climate for extended time, but I rarely burn. Unless I go out and sit in the sun all day without a base tan first.
Then again, maybe it's cuz I'm half Puerto Rican. LOL!
