Why don't Greek Statues have body hair? Maybe it was easier to make a statue that way?

Why don't Greek Statues have body hair? Maybe it was easier to make a statue that way? At least when it came to women in ancient Greece, they removed ALL body hair. So, the statutes of women are accurate depictions.
