When you look like this, nobody cares if you can act ...
But you better saves your paychecks now, Ms. Berry, 'cause in 15 years, they might care ...

Exactly. If "Catwoman" would have been a huge success, and Halle's performance in it been lauded, Halle would be singing a different tune. That she chose to handle the Razzie in this way (and again at the expense of others,) speaks volumes of her.
I have loved her acting in other roles--my comments are about how she has shown herself as a person.

We agree it's not important, but it wasn't mentioned in the article, so it rings a little tinny when you rant about it being mentioned too much.

LOL!
I was extremely annoyed by her over-the-top emotional orgasm when she won the Oscar... Because she can laugh at herself like this, she's regained a couple notches in my book.

Black, Castillian Spanish, etc., etc., Would she be any less an example of perfect feminity at it's finest, if she were to be exposed as an alien from Space? I think not.

And lets never forget the entrance in Die Another Day. My six year old son stopped what he was doing and looked at me. (my wife is half black so this makes more sense) and said mama. I replied "I wish" and got whacked pretty hard.

Interesting since Bush and Rumsfeld never acted in the movie.

Interesting since Bush and Rumsfeld never acted in the movie.Charming how petty the Left can be, huh?
On the other hand, if THEY will admit that F911 was a work of fiction, then I'll accept that Bush was acting.

I'm with you on this. Her gutsy appearance, what she did by pulling agent on stage and her comments show she has a great sense of humor.

Now what really would have been interesting is if President Bush was there to collect his award.

"Adding a big name like Berry to the movie seemed a sure thing."
They doubtless did think it a sure thing.
I often wonder why so many people in the movie business don't KNOW that movie making is story telling and in story telling 'it is the tale and the telling of it' that matters and not some hot actress.
