Oh...ps...have you ever heard of or seen the "photographic images" if the aftermath of Hiroshima?
It seems "shadows" were permanently imprinted on walls due to the massive flash of radiation.
I saw a TV show about it that back in the 70s.
[possibly "In Search Of" or somesuch show]
