OUT THERE
A fine poem
'tis sure to out last
a wonderment of what's beyond
our most earthly grasp...

A puppy! LOL. This is hysterical. Thanks Sam.
Good morning, Suomi.
Thank You.
This is breathtaking laurenmarlowe, exceptionally beautiful music and scenery.
I enjoyed Texas Song Writers poem `Out There` as I listened to `your selection here.` A nice voyage ~
I hope you are doing fine. :)
This really is an interesting song. I could only hear up the point of 1954, then I read snippy`s post and see he died in 1955. I will try to see if I can find and listen to this off site.
In reading that write-up, my mind went back to the movie `Deer Hunter.`
You are really finding some old music. I know you are having fun.
I have a neighbor friend who just purchased over two hundred 78`s for his victrola. It will be fun to see what he has discovered. He is in his eighties and lives a very busy life. He was in the service for 35 years. He shares his travel stories from around the globe and no matter the subject, he knows something about it. He is an avid reader. I always learn something new every time we speak.
uff' da!!
I do not know if I am going forward ~ backward ~ left ` or right today ;) It is a some type of Dance March lol
Good afternoon!
I am arriving after everyone had such fun I see, and so many things to see today...I smell the coffee!
Rainbows and pots of gold, sail boats, stars, candy, flowers, music everywhere and a little puppy too. A laughter and big smiles story :)
You have really been dancing here Bentfeather. Do you think about making another book? There are so many titles one could create. It is fun to see dance in writing, you two are pretty amazing together. I love your wardrobe. That era is like a fairyland.
What would be your favorite era, the one that most draws you in?
I am very drawn to the Victorian era and the one you dance in, then when I come back, I always return to the 50`s. It is comfort and wholesome to me. It seems like no matter where I venture out to, if there were one space block of only ten years in time that I could choose to live in, I would crawl right into 1950 ~ 1960 and just stay.
Here are a few quotes from
Forest Gump movie
I really like his character a lot.
Forrest: When I was in China on an All-American Ping-Pong team, I just loved playing ping-pong with my Flexolite ping-pong paddle.
Forrest: Mama said life was like a box of chocolates, never know what you`re gonna get.
Forrest: We were like peas and carrots, Jenny and I.
Forrest: I`m not a smart man, but I know what love is.
Forrest Gump: Mama says these were magic shoes. They could take me anywhere.
Forrest Gump: Now you wouldn`t believe me if I told you, but I could run like the wind blows. From that day on, if I was ever going somewhere, I was running!!
Thanks for the compliments on the writing. Old Sarge is an accomplished writer and I love the dance with him.
What would be your favorite era, the one that most draws you in?
The ones I write of and have the wardrobe for. :-)> I also, like the 50s, the music mostly.
I am also very fond of the Victorian era. I was born in the wrong century and too poor to have lived in high Victorian.Twas a graceful and protected of woman time, but woman belonged to their husbands like furniture and that will never do for bentfeather. It was a great time I guess if one had lots of money.
Forrest: I`m not a smart man, but I know what love is.
The most endearing line I have ever heard. HUGS!!MM

Thank you Sam.
I read something about this new movie Tripoli also, but for some reason I thought there was an older title of this.
It must be that I watched an old movie about Tripoli. It has Drill training in it. It was the Marines.
There is one I was reading about earlier titled `The Wind and the Lion` and I believe that has some Drill training in it. It is strange how one little story I found yesterday on Bentfeathers Flag post, would take me such a stretch to what am learning about.
Here is a list of war movies for a file:

and OohRah
I never knew what OohRah and Hooah and Arrugah means, I think I understand it now.

Mrs. Gump: You have to do the best with what God gave you.
Bubba: Have you ever been on a real shrimping boat?
Forrest: No, but I`ve been on a real big boat.
Bubba: Anyway, like I was sayin`, shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. Dey`s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There`s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That that`s about it. uff`da! :-)
Now I am leaving...
Supper is Shrimp!
I heard LunaRed was cooking tonight! Helga toooo?
I like Fisherman`s Blues :)
I love Cajun too and I am preparing a list for you soon ;)
See this movie.
Thank you for sharing.
I`m on my way out... I`ll try checking in later but the time zones are so different, :( you might be sleeping.
I have had a difficult time online today, not a steady connection.
Have a very nice evening.

Lovely just lovely!
Thank You, LR.
