Why are there so many porno-kitty pictures? (posts 21, 24, 109, 111)

I really love cats (my own especially - just as y'all do yours especially) But if cats are relaxing or on their backs for whatever reason and you want a picture of them is it too much to ask that you adjust your angle and capture your shot from the other end? The sight of my resting fur babies that tugs at my heart strings is their cute little faces with their soft paws curled up near them and the luxurious belly that they trustingly display but NOT their spread legs and exposed crotches.

I fully understand that cats have no shame (and I freely admit I am somewhat jealous of at least one of their flex-abilities... but that's a whole nother line of thought and we'll not go there). The fact that they are natural creatures and flagrant exhibitionists shouldn't be an excuse for us to take pictures that would embarrass a lesser individual if we were caught in such a pose.

Just something to think about. Otherwise I'm loving this weeks thread and all the personal photos and haikus and the love and pride that is evident with every post (even post #27)

Chelsea's pic isn't porno. :-) Her crotch is actually covered by her nubbin of a tail in #111. That nubbin is why I took that particular shot. hehe!

I do have some shots of her sweet face and here's one of them. Like I said in my earlier post, she's a laid back gal. A real slug. LOL!

I apologize if King Kat's pose (#21) offended you.

His "private parts" were the LAST thing on my mind when I took the picture, and never was until you mentioned it!

You're kidding, right? They're cats.

I'm not able to photograph my cats these days; I receive pictures of them from their "temporary foster parents" in Tulsa. But I have never been offended by any of them. Finbar sprawls like that all the time...I love getting pictures of Finbar being Finbar.

Perhaps I should send the pictures to "Tomcat Magazine" or something. ;-)
